Hey there! I'm so excited that you're thinking of booking with me. I've summed up a good chunk of locations that I love to shoot at all below. Majority of the locations are going to be in the Denver (ish) area, but if you have a certain area that you're wanting to stay around, just let me know! This is not a comprehensive list of all the locations I have previously or would in the future shoot at, so let me know if these aren't quite fitting your idea and I'll be happy to work with you to figure out other ideas!

Denver Area

Cheesman park (Denver, cO)

This location is great for any occasion as it's got trees, city buildings, and the beautiful historical pavilion all in one spot. Especially great for mini's because there is not much walking once you're at the pavilion. This area is dog friendly.

cherry creek state park (aurora, co)

There are multiple areas I can bring you to at this park. My favorites are between two - one has more trees (to include a long stream, small bridge, little waterfall (kind of), and field areas - this is part of the area with snow in the pictures below (gets much greener depending on the time of year and rain/snow amount). There's another area that's right on the lake still with plenty of trees, too (first two pictures). This park is dog friendly, however depending on the time of year/area/time of day, it may be more crowded than other times. It is a very big park though and some spots are less busy than others! We can talk more about this if you're interested in this location.

17 mile house farm park (parker, co)

This is a great spot if you're wanting a farm look! There is a small peek of mountains (best seen in the evening) as well as a tall grass field behind the buildings for a variety of shots. This is a fairly common shooting spot, so there may be others taking photos but I've never had problems with finding a spot while waiting for another (if that was ever even needed). This is a dog friendly area.

parker jordan centennial open space (parker, co)

Great for either package you're wanting as it's a very large area with a variety of spots we can take pictures. There's a little bridge over a stream, trees, and lots of grassy field areas! Typically not a busy spot either.

bluffs regional park (lone tree, co)

Lots of grassy hills that lead up to a pretty overview. It can be quite the walk to get to the overlook (about 15-20 minutes depending). However, it isn't a requirement and we can just go up about a 5 minute walk to get to pretty spots with hills. It is on a bit of an incline, so something to especially consider if it's a hot day out. It does get much greener during the summer time (depending on how much snow/rain we get prior), but the trail can get pretty muddy if it snowed recently - just something to be mindful of! This is a dog friendly location.

Harriman lake (Littleton, CO)

About a five minute walk from the parking lot, but has always been empty or nearly empty minus a few fishers (sometimes not even that). Depending on the year, if it's especially dry, the water isn't as close to the tree-line. It's still a beautiful spot though with plenty of spots to include more grass, trees, water, mountains, etc. This area is dog friendly.

Chatfield reservoir (Littleton, CO)

Lots of areas we can go. I like to go further out from the swim areas because it's typically less active/packed but again depends on time of year/day. It gives great views of the mountains, lake, and a little dock area. This area is dog friendly but does require either a state park pass or a day pass ($12/vehicle). Be sure to plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the session time to allow for parking and paying for a pass, potentially longer if the shoot is during the summer and on a weekend).

roxborough park (littleton, CO)

There's 2 different spots (requires less than 5 minute drive) I like to take people to - best suited for premium sessions, however, I have made it work for minis too if we're quick! Lots of trees with a bridge in the first spot and then the red rock areas in the second spot. It reminds me of a much less crowded version of Garden of the Gods. It does require a state park pass or daily pass per vehicle. It is not a dog friendly area* and may require a permit depending on the shoot - just let me know if you're interested in this and we can talk more!

*There is a park nearby that is dog friendly (below)

roxborough community park (littleton, co)

This is about a 5 minute drive from Roxborough Park. This is a dog friendly park in a residential area and is also free to park with no additional requirement needed to take photos here. There's a cute pond in the area too which makes for some cute photos! There are not any red rocks in this park, though. there are some pretty mountains in the back. It is in a more residential area as I mentioned, so there may be some houses in the background for some shots, but I personally don't think it takes away from the beauty of the spot! It's a more simple location if that's what you're looking for. Great for a mini package.

red rocks (morrison, co)

This spot is great for the classic package because there's lots of areas to drive to for a different look, including different spots to drive with cars to get to. The arch is usually pretty busy with cars going through as it leads to the amphitheater, but if we time it right and make it quick, I've gotten good shots there before! There's also a little downtown area about a 5-10 minute drive away that makes for some cute pictures, too. Dog friendly

downtown georgetown, co

$70 travel fee

This is great for a classic session because there's many places I can bring you for photos. If we drive up (about 5-10 minutes), there is a trail that has a bridge, stream, and trees (aspen and evergreens). Super fun to do them here!

Cheyenne mountain park (colorado springs, co)

$80 travel fee

This is a beautiful spot that are right on the mountain in Colorado Springs. Lots of different areas we can shoot at, too. This location does require a state park pass to park or the purchase of a day pass. Be sure to allot for 5 or so extra minutes to be able to buy any passes (if needed). Below pictures are from my own maternity shoot, taken by @mountainpostphotography on Instagram, edited by me.

near boettcher mansion (Golden, CO)

$70 travel fee

Location that's not far (at all) from where you'll park (there's side of the road parking or you can typically park at Boettcher's Mansion parking lot right across from it as well). Very pretty overlook, but not fit for larger groups as the rocks and layout of the lookout can make it awkward in adjusting everyone. It's also surrounded by a woodsy area that makes for some pretty pictures, too! Typically not super busy of a spot, but will sometimes have to wait a turn if there are people but it hasn't ever been a major issue in the past in my experience. Due to how the lighting is, there is a specific timeframe (typically once the sun is setting/starting to set) to avoid super bright photos with even lighting, so this is also something to consider if wanting to shoot at this location.
